Fitness Tip of the Week!

Jan. 17th - Jan. 23rd, 2000: For complete shoulder development, don’t overlook your rear delts. Even if you’re on a tight training schedule, you can find time for two sets of reverse flies in your workout. The benefits will be worth the time.

LAST UPDATED- Jan. 18th, 2000:

Well I'm not going to talk to much this update, to let you know, I've got four new great pictures in the pics page, a new TOW, an update in the coming soon page, I also added a new link in the Stallone Links section, and right now I'm working on a new contest, the first one didn't go over too well. Also this weekend sometime I'll have February of the Sly's Gym calendar up, so get your printers warmed up again! Talk to you next week. Also feel free to use the forum, it's been very quiet the last month or so...

Well here's something I found quite interesting...in this month's Muscle & Fitness magazine there is an article on the top 17 greatest muscle films of the 20th century. Here's the list:

1.Terminator 2.Pumping Iron 3.Hercules (1957) 4.Conan the Barbarian 5.Hercules (1983) 6.Conan the Destroyer 7.Muscle Beach Party 8.Don't make Waves 9.Predator 10.Hercules in the Haunted World 11.Hercules Unchained 12.Rocky III 13.Rocky IV 14.Commando 15.Staying Alive 16.Rambo: First Blood Part II 17.The Beast Master.

I'd have to say pretty good picks over all, but where is Rambo III, Blood Sport, and Kick Boxer?! I guess those were next on the list?! What's your opinion? Send them to me or post your top choices for muscle flicks of all time in the message board!

Also check out this article from Mr.Showbiz, it's about the rescent rumors of Sly and Arnie getting together to do a big blockbuster flick within the next few years. Let's hope so.THE ARTICLE.
Mr.Showbiz also lists the top 10 Boxing movies of all time, Rocky came in second, Raging Bull was number one.

GO FOR IT!

SLY'S GYM © 1999 was designed and created by Chris Murphy. This website is a non-profit page on the actor Sylvester Stallone and could not be done without the help from Craig Zablo, Rob, Maurice Totry, Steve, Chris Wood, Bill Pruitt, everyone who has submitted a story, and various other Stallone websites, Pangea (my ISP), Muscle & Fitness magazine, notepad, photoshop, fractal painter, and of course Sylvester Stallone and all the inspiration he has given me over the years! Thanks for everything guys, I truly appreciate it!
